Minibus Sharing Scheme for Gloucestershire

The Gloucestershire Minibus Scheme (GMS) is a minibus brokerage initiative designed to meet the needs of community organisations such as:

  • charitable groups
  • clubs and societies
  • voluntary and community organisations
  • schools
  • colleges

and any group operated on a not-for-profit basis.

Organisations which currently own minibuses can also become members and lend them to other GMS members who need transport. The lender will then receive a contribution towards running expenses.

GMS was relocated from Gloucestershire County Council in autumn 2006 and moved to its new home at Transport 21, Stroud town centre. Further offices are based in Newent, Cirencester and Gloucester.
